Four Jobs of the Future

Look around organizations today and really ask what needs to be done to build and sustain an enterprise capable of innovation, adaptation, daring and speed? What is needed to truly build an enterprise where people are treated as the strategic assets that almost all organizations claim they are? Contributing writer Richard Wilkinson, whose most recent career had him the director of Human Resources for a medium-size enterprise, dreamed up four jobs needed in the future and described their key characteristics.

Richard Wilkinson, M.A., M.S., has 30 years experience as a human resources executive, consultant, adult educator, and manager. Richard is currently Director of Human Resources for Path, which works closely with the Gates Foundation implementing appropriate technology in health around the world.
