Atlanta Future

Recently I was in Atlanta to address the annual breakfast gathering called “State of the Region,” which is put on by the Atlanta Regional Commission. This particular year the focus was on introducing a new regional effort called “50 Forward,” which is literally an attempt to imagine the region in the year 2060. The Commission will sponsor a two-year series of quarterly forums exploring various issues important to the regional future.

Press accounts of my keynote are available, at Forbes.com, and at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution online. You might want to take a look.

We’ll be posting some video from this event early next week.

Also, the latest installment of FutureTalks went up this week, on the “Future of User-Generated Content”, one of our best episodes. Check it out.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone reading and viewing!
